ENGINEERING SUPPORT FOR YOUR PCB PROCUREMENT
A printed circuit board may look flawless in CAD but still contain details that are critical to the manufacturing process. Insufficient clearances, unclear contours, missing specifications, critical drill holes or ambiguously defined tolerances can lead to queries, delays or quality risks at a later stage.
EVYTRA provides technical engineering support for your PCB procurement – from analysing your requirements and checking the Gerber data to verification by experienced CAM specialists. This makes your PCB procurement more technically robust, easier to compare and more predictable.

Gerber files checked against DRC
Gerber data forms the cornerstone of printed circuit board manufacturing. If errors or critical details are only identified after an order has been placed, this can lead to delays, additional costs or the need for technical coordination.
EVYTRA therefore checks Gerber files using DRC – that is, Design Rule Check. This process checks for production-critical aspects such as trace spacing, drill holes, contours, copper areas or potential rule violations.
This check helps to identify technical risks at an early stage and ensures that PCB procurement is based on a reliable data foundation.

Please get in touch with us about your PCB data
Would you like to have your Gerber data checked, identify technical risks at an early stage, or ensure that requirements are met before placing an order?
Talk to EVYTRA about your PCB project. We will check your PCB data and provide you with engineering support before production is approved.
How does EVYTRA verify the data?
Once your Gerber data has been submitted, it will be processed in a timely and structured manner. As part of a Design Rule Check (DRC), we assess the feasibility of the design, drawing on our customer-specific expertise.
In the event of queries that fall outside the remit of either the manufacturer or EVYTRA, you will receive an Engineering Question (EQ) for final clarification.
Once all the details have been finalised, your design will be optimally adapted to the production processes of the relevant manufacturer. The production programmes created are then sent directly to the machines – and production can begin.
You can rely on our many years of experience, dating back to 1969, to ensure everything runs smoothly and delivers impressive results!
