Why should a US manufacturer in the medical device market choose a sub-supplier from Germany?
We have asked,
on the occasion that our Business Development Manager Alexander Machill will be in U.S., for visiting customers and to be part of BIOMEDevice trade show, Sept. 20-21, 2023, in Boston.
According to Machill, German companies are still recognized to have very high-quality standards. We are known for strict controls in the medical device industry, as well as the precision of our products and services, which is an essential key factor for medical device manufacturing.
In line with these expectations of a German medical technology supplier, EVYTRA has scored – with the most outstanding touch solutions and input systems – from glass to finished products - for years with US manufacturers. Long-term customer relationships have been achieved. An advanced technology infrastructure, highly skilled employees, and a customer centered thinking, were setting the corner stone for developing and manufacturing innovative solutions for medical devices and components.
Machill added that there are many reasons why a U.S. medical device manufacturer would choose a German sub-supplier. First of all, a supplier must meet specific technical and regulatory requirements set by the stringent MDR - Medical Device Regulation. Often, the choice falls on a German supplier in order to expand their own know-how with their additional expertise.
In our case, the U.S. companies and EVYTRA can benefit equally in a win-win.
A cooperative partnership lowers the barriers to market entry on both sides.
The U.S. market has particularly strict regulations for manufacturing and distribution of medical devices. Overall, these challenges make the medical technology market in the U.S. is one of the most demanding markets worldwide, but at the same time with such a high market potential.
