On February 25, EVYTRA and the Economic Council (Wirtschaftsrat) hosted our dialogue event ahead of the 2026 state election—with many guests from the regional business community as well as the @IHK, and a lively discussion. The evening was moderated by Dr. Dietz (section spokesperson of the Wirtschaftsrat) and our CEO Pierre Lohrber. Pierre is deliberately engaged in this format because constructive exchange between business and politics matters to him—for strong framework conditions, innovation, and jobs in our region. Because it’s important to take responsibility and actively engage in public discourse so we can shape a successful future together.

As an internationally active company, EVYTRA develops glass-surface user interfaces and HMI solutions, including for smart lighting and building technology—and we were able to bring this perspective visibly into the conversation.

At the center were the regional candidates from constituency 54 (Villingen-Schwenningen), who introduced themselves and joined the discussion: Andreas Braun (CDU), Martina Braun (Alliance 90/The Greens), Nicola Schurr (SPD), and Prof. Dr. Dirk Eisenbiegler (FDP, Furtwangen University). Topics included bureaucracy, innovation/entrepreneurship culture, collaboration between business, schools and universities, the healthcare system, and internal security.

For us, it was a very successful networking evening—and a great opportunity to present EVYTRA and our HMI solutions convincingly.
